This is something I've always wondered. Everytime I see a couple riding together on a motorcycle, it's always the woman who's riding behind the man. I've never once seen a woman riding a motorcycle with a man sitting behind HER. Just curious as to why this is. Seems odd.
Thanks for all your answers. I esp liked the ones re: balance. Never thought of that. And also the idea that it's the man's bike & the woman may not have a license to drive it.
No man is going to be seen putting his arms around a woman on a bike. it gives the impression that he is a nancy boy or a Timmy and no man wants that

I just got my license and am shopping for a helmet. Women's helmets are generally more expensive for the same features. Since our heads are basically the same, is there a difference between the two beside pricing? Thanks!

Where can I try on & buy a ladies motorcycle jacket?

I live in South Jersey and don't want to go to Philly–anybody know of any stores in this area? (If not, just give me the best, reliable online stores) I also prefer something fashionable as I don't even own a motorcycle– i just like the way the jackets look. Thanks for any ideas.
